Rates
My day rate is £100 artist fee plus a materials budget and travel expenses which will be agreed by the client.
My rates are based on what a supply teacher would be paid for a days work in a school. If you only need me for part of a day I can provide my pro rata rates.
CRB
I have a current CRB from a local authority but if a new CRB from your Authority is needed I am happy to apply and share the costs (This is because certain Local Authorities and/or organisations require a CRB to be from their Authority and/or organisation).
Public and Products Liability Insurance
As a full time professional artist I subscribe to and am a member of AIR (Artists Interaction & Representation) scheme.
As such I have Public and Products Liability Insurance Policy, with a Limit of Indemnity of £5,000,000, underwritten by International Insurance Company of Hannover Ltd under Policy No. AIR/10/00001. The period of insurance expires 30th April 2012.
The policy provides an indemnity in respect of the member’s legal liability, subject to the laws of the United Kingdom, in respect of bodily injury to third parties and damage to third party property, arising from the member’s business as ‘the making, designing, creating, preparing, installing, exhibiting, selecting and display of any works of visual or applied art (including works not created by the Assured) and the lecturing, teaching or demonstrating of visual or applied art including (but not limited to) workshops, residencies and community projects’, subject always to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.
