These two original acrylic paintings on canvas will be available to buy for the first time at The Spring Art Fair at Sanctuary Artspace in St Edmunds Chapel on the High Street in Gateshead this Saturday 9th April 2011 between 12 and 5pm.
More details of the event are available on the events facebook page here.
These canvases are my most expensive items at £100 each. Both took a number of days to plan and paint. I’ve used a variety of acrylic paints including Windsor and Newton, Daler-Rowney and Liquitex acrylics.
Digital prints of these paintings and others are also available for only £10. Each print is signed and dated by the artist and comes with a snippet of information about the inspiration or technique used to create the piece and some care guidance.
My other three key pieces are mounted (but unframed) paintings on card which will be £50… these are acylics inspired by a number of my most popular cards “Jimmy Mack the Highland Terrier”, “Pickles the Wide Eyed Jack Russell” and “Mr Dandy the Handsome Pug”. They demonstrate my passion for colour and mark making. I won’t be posting an image of these online until after the exhibition. I’ve got to leave you some reason to pop down!
Can’t wait now!
